Penang allows terawih, Aidilfitri prayers in MCO, CMCO areas

GEORGE TOWN (Bernama): Penang has allowed terawih and Hari Raya Aidilfitri prayers to be performed in areas under the movement control order and conditional MCO, based on mosque and surau capacity, effective Monday (May 10).

Penang Islamic Religious Affairs Department (JHEAIPP) director Mohd Zakuan Zakaria said apart from that, all religious activities, including Friday prayers, were also allowed in mosques and surau in the MCO and conditional MCO areas.
