NUTP: Teachers who are close contact of Covid-19 cases need to be given quarantine leave


KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): The National Union of the Teaching Profession (NUTP) on Friday (April 23) asked Education Minister Datuk Dr Radzi Jidin to give quarantine leave to teachers who are close contacts of Covid-19 cases.

NUTP secretary-general Harry Tan Huat Hock (pic) said currently, close contact teachers had to take special leave before receiving a quarantine letter from the District Health Office (PKD).
