Sabah STAR sec-gen Guandee Kohoi to be sworn in as Deputy Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister on Friday (April 16)

PETALING JAYA: Sabah STAR secretary-general Datuk Guandee Kohoi will be sworn in as Deputy Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister.

Kohoi was appointed as Senator on Dec 16 last year.

According to Bernama, the swearing-in ceremony will be held at Istana Negara at 10.30am on Friday (April 16).

When contacted, Kohoi confirmed he will be appointed to the post.

In September, after the Sabah polls, Sabah STAR president Datuk Dr Jeffrey Kitingan quit as Tourism, Arts and Culture deputy minister.

Dr Jeffrey, who won the Tambunan seat, was appointed Sabah’s Deputy Chief Minister II after Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) won the state elections.
