Pakistani fined RM10,000, jailed a day for bribing cop at roadblock in Tangkak


JOHOR BARU: A 38-year-old Pakistani man was sentenced to one day's jail and fined RM10,000 by the Sessions Court here for bribing a policeman at a roadblock at the Bukit Gambir Toll Plaza in Tangkak.

The Johor Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) said the accused, Imran Khan, pleaded guilty after the charge was read to him in Urdu by a court interpreter before judge Datuk Ahmad Kamal Arifin on Monday (April 5).
