Umno supreme council has mandate to withdraw support for Perikatan govt, says Zahid

KUALA LUMPUR: Umno has given its supreme council the mandate to withdraw support for the Perikatan Nasional government at any time it sees fit.

Umno president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said this was the indication the party leadership had received from the general assembly if the general election was not forthcoming.
