Melaka mayor: 24-hour convenience shops, fast food chains, Mamak restaurants can open beyond midnight

MELAKA: All 24-hour convenience shops, fast food chains and Mamak restaurants under the purview of the Melaka Historic City Council (MBMB) can operate beyond midnight during the present recovery movement control order.

Mayor Datuk Zainal Abu said MBMB has never stopped any of these outlets - which have business licences to operate for 24 hours - to close by midnight.
