Perak DAP wants to contest eight Parliamentary, 20 state seats in GE15, says Nga

IPOH: Perak DAP wants to contest eight Parliamentary and 20 state seats in the 15th General Election, says its chairman Nga Kor Ming (pic).

He said it was to help win back the Federal and state governments that were "stolen" by Perikatan Nasional.

“I urge the Pakatan Harapan presidential council to allow us to contest eight Parliamentary seats and 20 state seats in GE15.

“We hope and request state Parti Amanah Negara chairman Datuk Asmuni Awi and state PKR chairman Farhash Wafa Salvador Rizal Mubarak to give away the seats, allowing us to contest and win back the government, ” he said in his speech during the 19th Perak DAP state convention here on Sunday (March 14).

“We hope this would get the blessing from the Pakatan presidential council, ” he said.

Perak DAP had contested and won seven Parliamentary and 18 state seats during GE14.

Three assemblymen - Paul Yong (Tronoh), A. Sivasubramaniam (Buntong), Leong Cheok Keng (Malim Nawar) - are no longer with the party since.
