Farmers hit hard by lack of workers and rainfall


JOHOR BARU: Fruit and vegetable productions are expected to see a significant decline if the current hot and dry weather continues in the weeks to come, says Malaysia Federation of Vegetable Farmers Association president Lim Ser Kwee.

He said at the moment, farmers still had enough water supply but with the lack of rainfall, they were running out of water sources to sustain their crops.
