Siblings aged seven, 14, injured, parents die in car-van collision

KAJANG: A married couple was killed, while their two children were hurt after their car collided head-on with a van in front of a hypermarket along the Cheras-Kajang Expressway.

Selangor Fire and Rescue department director Norazam Khamis said the department received a call on the accident at 3.59pm on Sunday (March 7).

"Six personnel were rushed to the scene.

"We discovered there was an accident between a car and a van," he said in a statement.

Norazam said the couple, along with their children, aged seven and 14, were found in the car.

"The husband and wife died at the scene and their bodies were sent to a nearby hospital for post-mortem.

"The two children, who suffered injuries, were sent to Hospital Kajang for treatment," he added.

The driver of the van did not sustain any injury, he said.
