Covid-19: 1,924 new cases, 12 fatalities bring death toll to 1,100

PUTRAJAYA: Another 1,924 people tested positive for Covid-19 in Malaysia on Thursday (Feb 25), says the Health Ministry.

In his daily Covid-19 updates, Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah also said 12 more people died while 3,752 patients were discharged within the same time span.

Since the start of the pandemic, the country has now seen 293,698 Covid-19 infections and 263,761 recoveries.

Malaysia’s Covid-19 death toll is now up to 1,100.

There are currently 28,837 active cases nationwide, of which 205 are under intensive care, with 91 on ventilator support.
