KUALA LUMPUR: PAS president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang should use better words than "Dajjal" (false messiah) when expressing his disagreement with the Confidence and Supply Agreement (CSA) between Bersatu MPs and the Madani government, says Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said.
The Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Law and Institutional Reform) was responding to Hadi's recent statement that strongly criticised the CSA, describing it as the "Dajjal approaching at the end of times".

"There are many other words one can use to express disagreement. There is no need to go to such extremes," she told the media after officiating a forum on Asian Insolvency Reform 2026, "Future-proofing Asian Insolvency Systems", here on Wednesday (Nov 4).
"From what I understand of the definition of the Dajjal, it is a figure who will appear towards the end of times, before the Day of Judgment.
"That is my understanding. Does he know when the Day of Judgment will come? God knows best. I certainly do not know.
"To me, the Dajjal is a concept interpreted in the Quran, and there are many other terms that could be used."
On Thursday (Oct 29), Bersatu MPs led by party president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin signed a CSA with Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim's Madani Government.

The agreement involved 13 Opposition and Independent MPs: six Bersatu MPs aligned with Muhyiddin and six former Bersatu MPs who had previously supported Anwar.
The CSA was also signed by Independent Muar MP Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman.
On Tuesday (Nov 3), Hadi issued a statement saying that "CSA is a Dajjal approaching at the end of times that turns power into no longer a trust that must be fulfilled to all, but forces (people) to remain in power.
"Although it’s not pretending to be God like Dajjal, it still executes the traits of Dajjal," he said.
