Health Ministry: 3,170 new cases for 172,549 total, 12 fatalities bring death toll to 642

PETALING JAYA: The country has recorded another 3,170 Covid-19 cases, bringing the total to 172,549.

In his daily Covid-19 briefing on Thursday (Jan 21), Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said that the country also saw 2,490 recoveries.

"Eight of the new infections are imported cases.

"Twelve deaths have also been recorded, bringing the total Covid-19 deaths to 642," he said.
