Covid-19: Third Sabah assemblyman tests positive


KOTA KINABALU: A third Sabah assemblyman has tested positive for Covid-19.

Tandek assemblyman Hendrus Anding from Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) had been placed at the Kota Belud low-risk centre since Jan 5.

However, Hendrus said Saturday (Jan 9) that he was under observation and showed no other signs of the illness.

"I feel healthy, there is no treatment required for me, ” Hendrus said.

Sabah STAR president Datuk Seri Dr Jeffrey Kitingan, who is deputy chief minister, and Sabah STAR's Bingkor assemblyman Robert Tawik have also tested positive for Covid-19.

It is learned that another Sabah assemblyman was also admitted to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for observation.
