Penang cops bust illegal medicine syndicate, products worth RM14mil seized

GEORGE TOWN: Police have crippled an unregistered medicine processing syndicate here with the arrests of four and the seizure of products worth RM14mil.

State police chief Comm Datuk Sahabudin Abd Manan (pic) said the syndicate, which had been active since early this year, was busted during a special operation conducted by Bukit Aman and the state Narcotics Criminal Investigation Department (NCID) in collaboration with the Health Department and Chemistry Department.
