KUALA LUMPUR: The Opposition's attempt to slash a RM8.62mil allocation for the Penggerak Komuniti Tempatan (PeKT) under the Housing and Local Government Ministry failed in Dewan Rakyat on Wednesday (Dec 9).
The move came before debates on the ministry's allocation could begin after Dewan Rakyat Speaker Datuk Azhar Azizan Harun noted that four Opposition lawmakers had filed motions to slash PeKT's allocation.
