Perak PKR accepts Ahmad Faizal Azumu's loss in vote of confidence

IPOH: Perak PKR has accepted Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu's loss in the vote of confidence in the State Assembly on Friday (Dec 4).

Its chief Farhash Wafa Salvador Rizal Mubarak (pic) said the state assembly members showed the spirit of agreement and ensured the future by rejecting Faizal as the Mentri Besar.

“Perak PKR accepts this decision and we will cooperate with the state government so that the focus on the welfare of the people is not neglected, ” he added.

Farhash said the expedited motion from Pengkalan Baharu assemblyman Datuk Abd Manaf Hashim proves that Faizal’s government has no legitimacy.

“Currently we are hit by the Covid-19 pandemic, and if a state election is held it will only harm the people. But what is clear is that Faizal has been rejected in the State Legislative Assembly," said Farhash.

Farhash also advised Faizal to reflect after being rejected by his own component parties, even though they worked together for nine months.
