TMJ accepts govt’s decision to cancel Malaysia Cup and not allowing JDT to compete in AFC Champions League

KUALA LUMPUR: The government's decision to cancel the Malaysia Cup and not allowing Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) to compete in the AFC Champions League (ACL) is made in the interests and welfare of Malaysians, says Tunku Mahkota Johor Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim.

While the decision was difficult to accept, the Johor Crown Prince said he believed that it was made in the interests and welfare of Malaysians, including all families involved, due to the increasing Covid-19 cases, which would affect their livelihoods.
