Extend loan moratorium, allow EPF withdrawal, Barisan urges PM


PETALING JAYA: Ahead of the tabling Budget 2021, Barisan Nasional leaders are calling for the Prime Minister to consider measures to help the B40 and M40 groups cope with the impact of Covid-19 pandemic on their livelihood.

Barisan chairman Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi proposed that Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin consider extending the moratorium period on loans, as well as allowing contributors to withdraw a certain amount from their Employee's Provident Fund (EPF) savings to deal with challenges.
