PETALING JAYA: More than a million accounts in the Klang Valley are facing water supply disruptions due to suspected contamination of Sungai Selangor.
Air Selangor said that contamination was detected around 2am Monday (Oct 19), forcing a stop-work order on Phase 1,2,3 and Rantau Panjang water treatment plants.
This has resulted in unscheduled water cuts in 1,292 areas in Kuala Lumpur, Petaling, Klang/Shah Alam, Kuala Selangor, Hulu Selangor, Gombak and Kuala Langat. Search the table below for an easier way to see how you're affected:
