Cops nab suspect over Klang armed robbery

KLANG: A man wielding a parang robbed a thrift store here on Wednesday (Oct 14).

"The shop in Jalan Kapar, Klang was robbed by two suspects, one of whom had a parang.

"The suspect grabbed a victim's bag which contained a broken handphone as well as cash from a fund collection container.

"The victim was warned not to shout and the suspect threw her MyKad back at her before running off," said North Klang OCPD Asst Comm Nurulhuda Mohd Salleh in a statement Thursday (Oct 15).

She added that the victim suffered losses of RM200.

The incident was also captured on CCTV and the footage has been going viral on social media.
