PETALING JAYA: A Malaysian engineer almost resigned from her job for fear that she would not be given a Muslim burial if she died of Covid-19 in Japan.
Amalina Tajudin, who has been working in Tokyo for five years, said she almost submitted her resignation letter in early April when Japan declared a state of emergency in the country as a result of the rise in Covid-19 cases.
