DOE D-G, deputy arrive in court to face corruption charges


KUALA LUMPUR: The Director-General of the Department of Environment (DOE) and its Deputy Director-General have arrived at the Sessions Court here to face graft charges on Friday (April 3).

Both senior DOE officials were previously detained under the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Act 2009 on suspicion of involvement in corruption linked to the management of electronic waste, a case that has been under investigation since early this year.
