PEKAN: This royal town in Pahang is keeping alive its cannon-firing tradition to announce the breaking of fast every evening during Ramadan.
Two spruced-up German-made Bavaria Gun M 635 cannons, weighing 415 kg each, are being used alternately for the firing, a tradition that has been strictly followed for more than 40 years.
