Covid-19: 217 new cases, death toll now at 53 (updated)


PUTRAJAYA: Malaysia recorded a rise of 217 new Covid-19 cases on Friday (April 3), bringing the country’s total to 3,333 confirmed infections.

Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said of the new cases, 58 were linked to the tabligh assembly cluster in Masjid Seri Petaling.
