SUBANG JAYA – To further help Malaysians minimise contact with others in view of the current Covid-19 pandemic and movement control order (MCO), AEON Retail Group recently launched a new enhancement for customers, namely, its drive-through service for the convenience of its shoppers.

While the drive-through service is currently available at only two locations, AEON BiG’s head office at Subang Jaya and AEON Style Taman Maluri, for the present time, plans are underway to expand this service to 15 other AEON BiG hypermarkets and 11 other AEON stores by April 1.

Customers can first order online through the online portal - bit.ly//AEONDriveThru – and subsequently proceed to collect their orders at the drive-through, at which point they can pay for their purchases via cashless payments, specifically, with their debit or credit card at the pick-up point.

Working very much like a typical fast-food chain’s drive-through, AEON drive-through brings the comfort and convenience of shopping, ensuring shoppers need not to get down from the car to purchase the essentials.

With Malaysians’ best interests in mind, AEON introduces this value-added service to help its customers minimise contact with other people during the MCO, thereby minimising the risks of spreading or contracting infection, as per public health directives and advisories.

Alternatively, customers may also get assistance when shopping for essentials with the help of personal shoppers at AEON BiG hypermarkets or AEON supermarkets, another value-added service to help customers in the time of the MCO that restricts shopping for essentials to only one representative from the household.

Meanwhile, if customers are heading to AEON BiG hypermarkets, AEON Supermarket or any other public locations, the company would like to remind all to please remember to practise social distancing, wash your hands or use sanitiser if there is no soap and water, and thoroughly wash up after returning home.
