KOTA KINABALU: There is no total lockdown anywhere in Sabah, says State Police Commissioner Datuk Zaini Jass (pic).

He said it will be the ongoing movement control order (MCO) as usual even with the military coming in to assist on Sunday (March 22).

He said this following a viral video showing policemen in a police patrol vehicle announcing that it is now a total lockdown and no one is allowed out of their houses.

Apparently, the policeman had used the wrong word "darurat" (state of emergency) and caused panic and confusion among people, Zaini explained

“There is no total lockdown, it is still the MCO, ” Zaini said.
