KUALA LUMPUR: All the 12 motions proposed for the Malaysian Bar’s 74th annual general meeting were withdrawn as only 87 of its almost 20,000 members turned up for the meeting following concerns over Covid-19.
Its newly elected president Salim Bashir said they did not receive a quorum to start the meeting at 10am and had to stand down according to the Legal Profession Act.
