Motorcyclist hurt after crashing into fallen tree


REMBAU: A 29-year-old motorcyclist suffered light injuries when he crashed into a fallen tree at KM237.2 of the North South Expressway.

A Fire and Rescue Department personnel said the incident happened along the southbound stretch of the expressway around 6.45pm on Thursday (Feb 19).

"The victim was given early treatment and then handed over to medical personnel.

"The tree which had fallen across the highway was also cleared," he said in a statement.
