A BANK employee in Hong Kong was caught abusing his work-from-home arrangement by going on a hiking trip, reported China Press.
His employer found out about it when he posted a photo of himself hiking along with the caption “Best Work-From-Home activity”.
The social media post went viral with many netizens making fun of the bank by calling it “Hang San Bank” (Cantonese: Hiking Bank).
When contacted, Hang Seng Bank explained that the employee was new to the company and that he would be reprimanded.
It added that it hoped employees would adhere to the rules on its work-from-home policy, which was implemented due to the Covid-19 (novel coronavirus) outbreak.

Before joining the film industry, Yang had more than 10 years of experience drawing comics.
