KUALA LUMPUR: Muhammad Bakhtiar Wan Chik has clarified that the appeal letter he sent to the National Art Gallery (NAG) over censored artworks of a local artist was written in his personal capacity.

The Deputy Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister also said that the letter was a request to the NAG, and not a directive after four artworks of acclaimed contemporary artist Ahmad Fuad Osman were removed from his solo exhibition.
