Narcotics unit to be stationed at main airports

SEPANG: With 101 Malaysians caught in 2019 for being drug mules – out of which 82 were arrested overseas – the police decided to station a new police unit at airports to target such offenders.

While 101 offenders might seem like a small number, those were just the offenders successfully caught, said Bukit Aman Narcotics Crime Investigation Department (NCID) director Comm Datuk Mohd Khalil Kader Mohd.
