AirAsia execs: We were never approached, clear violation of legal principles

KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): AirAsia’s top executives have claimed that the company was never reached out to even once by the UK Serious Fraud Office (SFO) during the four-year investigation regarding the Airbus scandal, for any explanation or clarification.

In a statement (full version below), AirAsia chairman Datuk Kamarudin Meranun and AirAsia group chief executive officer Tan Sri Tony Fernandes said it was a clear violation of the fundamental legal principle of fairness and access to justice.
