Two-year-old girl found wandering alone in Kajang reunites with mother


KAJANG: The two-year-old girl found wandering alone around Jalan Taman Megah 2A here on Friday (Jan 10) has been reunited with her 35-year-old mother.

“The mother had contacted the police after news of her missing child spread on social media.

“She presented herself to the police district headquarters here at 9pm on Friday to claim her daughter. Documents were produced that supported her claim.

“Based on her statement, the girl had left the house on her own while playing outside. The front door was closed but unlocked, ” said Kajang OCPD Asst Comm Ahmad Dzaffir Mohd Yusoff in a statement on Saturday (Jan 11).

He added that the police expressed their thanks to all that had helped spread the news of the girl, which eventually led to her safe return to her parents.
