‘Ombak Rindu’ star due to give birth in April

Actress Izara Aishah (pic) is six months pregnant with her first child and expected to give birth in April, reported Harian Metro.

Izara, who is married to Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza’s stepson Adib Khalid, said she did not share the news earlier as she was still in the early stages of pregnancy then.

“Allah has granted our prayers. This news is the kind that is long awaited by any married couple.

“My husband and I have been planning for this. It’s just that at the start of our marriage, we wanted to enjoy being a couple first, ” said the 28-year-old, who got married in 2017.

Izara said she would take a break from acting after giving birth, adding: “I will only be doing promotion for Ombak Rindu (the series) and attending its press events.”

The vocalist of the band Slam wed Nur Juliana on Wednesday in a ceremony witnessed by nearly 2,000 guests.

He also thanked a wedding studio which had sponsored the event.

Zamani, 49, said they chose Jan 1 as the wedding date as it was a memorable way to usher in the new year.

The body of the woman known only as Santi was discovered on Tuesday by Nurmila Ardan, a friend who visited her house in Kulim.

“We took care of them and tried to contact their parents but to no avail. We came to their house to take the children’s clothes, ” she said, adding that she had lodged a police report.
