COSMETICS entrepreneur Datuk Alha Alfa is prepared to spend big for the production of reality TV show Malaysia Top Make-Up Artist, in his search for up-and-coming makeup artists, reported Berita Harian.
Alha, whose real name is Abdul Al Halim Mohd Al Fadzil, said his main objective was to change the public’s perception towards the job which sometimes was still seen as a hobby and not as a profession.
The 31-year-old hopes the reality show will promote healthy competition among makeup artists.
“The programme is open to those aged between 18 and 35, who are taking their first step towards becoming a makeup artist.
“We do not have a quota for male or female participants. Instead, we will just select eight participants through auditions, ” he said.
The first episode of Malaysia Top Make-Up Artist will be aired on Feb 15 on Astro Ria.

“I still receive offers for roles but priority is given to Bilal. So far, everything is going well, ” she said.
