MELAKA: From wild boars to birds, there seems never to be a dull moment at the Melaka state assembly.
One exco man spoke on Monday about the big number of wild boars in Melaka.
Yesterday, it was the crows that got the attention.
Ismail Othman (BN-Kuala Linggi) asked whether the high number of crows at Dataran Klebang was due to their “migration” from a neighbouring country.
In his reply, state Housing, Local Government and Environment Committee chairman Datuk Tey Kok Kiew said measures were in place to control the situation.
Earlier, state legislative Speaker Datuk Wira Omar Jaffar said it was fascinating that there were animal tales being debated in the assembly.
“After wild boars and monkeys, today we hear about crows, ” he quipped, leaving the House in stitches.
