KUALA LUMPUR: A retiree was fined RM5,000 by the Sessions Court for uploading fake content about the Malaysian Islamic Development Department (Jakim) on social media three years ago.
Ranendra Bijoy Bhattacharyya pleaded guilty to the offence after it was read before judge M.M Edwin Paramjothy yesterday.
