A woman in Karnataka, India apparently “sold” her husband to his lover in a bizarre incident, Tamil dailies reported.
The episode began when the woman’s husband began staying in his lover’s house instead of returning to her after work.
The wife, named Ramya, quarrelled with her husband over the matter.
The woman found her rival’s house and confronted her. During their argument it was mentioned that the wife had a lot of debts.
The husband’s lover offered to help pay off her debts if she agreed to separate from her husband.
The wife was shocked but eventually agreed as her husband was not interested in staying with her.
She initially demanded 1.7 million rupees (RM100,000) but settled for 500,000 rupees (RM30,000) and left him.
