Nora Anne's family dealing with their loss, it was ‘most cruel’

SEREMBAN: The family of Nora Anne Quoirin has once again thanked all parties who helped in the search but described the manner in which the 15-year-old was taken away from them as “most cruel”.

“Nora is at the heart of our family.

“She is the truest, most precious girl and we love her infinitely.

“The cruelty of her being taken away is unbearable. Our hearts are broken, ” they said in a statement Wednesday (Aug 14).

In thanking all those involved in her search, they said Nora Anne had brought people together, especially from France, Ireland, Britain and Malaysia.

“She has truly touched the whole world.

“To all our friends and family at home, we can’t thank you enough for all your love, ” they said in the statement issued through the Lucie Blackman Trust, which has been the family's voice since Nora Anne's disappearance.
