MAKKAH (Bernama): Former Malaysian ambassador to France Datuk Ibrahim Abdullah (pic) has been appointed Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Special Envoy for Peace in Southern Philippines.
The appointment, approved by the Islamic Summit Conference (OIC Summit), was included in the Final Communique Saturday (June 1) chaired by Saudi Arabia's monarch, King Salman Abdulaziz Al Saud, who is also Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.
