Tamil students to benefit from free education portal

THE Sri Murugan Centre (SMC) has launched the free Brahmastra education portal which will help more than 30,000 Tamil school students preparing for UPSR, Makkal Osai reported.

The launch of the portal was officiated by SMC founder and director Tan Sri Dr M. Thambirajah and the pro-chancellor of Cyberjaya University College of Medical Sciences Tan Sri Dr R. Palan at SJK (T) Vivekananda Brickfield.

The portal, which is completely free of charge, features 2,500 practice questions for Science, Maths, English and Bahasa Melayu.

The website also hosts other helpful features such as motivational talks and videos, live teaching, and online competitions.

Palan said such a portal had been a long time dream of the SMC founder and would be a great tool for the students.

Minister for Higher Education K.P. Anbalagan, who was present, advised the woman to meet him at his office and promised to help her mother.

The woman was later released.
