KUCHING: Sarawak, which contributes 98% of the country’s black pepper, is now set to be the largest premium pineapple hub in the country.
It all began with the first Milie Dilard (MD2) pineapple project in the state that was carried out with the cooperation of the Malaysian Pineapple Industry Board (MPIB) and an entrepreneur in Kampung Padang Pan in Balingies, Bau.
