Dr M: Uighur Muslims released as they had not broken Malaysian laws

KUALA LUMPUR: The 11 ethnic Uighur Muslims were released from Government  custody as they had not broken any Malaysian laws, said Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

"They have not done anything wrong in this country, so they were released," Dr Mahathir told reporters at the Parliament lobby here on Monday (Oct 15).
