Syariah court sentences woman to 6 months and 6 strokes for prostitution

KUALA TERENGGANU: A woman charged with offering sexual services at a hotel here has been sentenced to six months in prison and six strokes of rotan by the Syariah High Court.

Judge Rosdi Harun meted out the sentence on Thursday.
