Man driving while intoxicated kills motorcyclist in Klang crash


KLANG: A motorcyclist has been killed after a car driven by a man allegedly high on drugs and alcohol rammed into at high speed here.

South Klang OCPD Asst Comm Lim Jit Huey said on Sunday (March 29) that the accident occurred on Jalan Raya Barat.

"The car, driven by a local man in his 20s, was being driven at high speed.

"The driver was overtaking several vehicles and collided with the motorcycle coming from the opposite direction.

"The victim, a local man in his 30s, was thrown onto another vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene," he said.

He added the suspect tested positive for alcohol and drugs and was arrested.

A video of the incident has since gone viral.
