PETALING JAYA: Increasing the minimum wage will increase the purchasing power of lower income groups and drive the economy by stimulating sales, says Datuk Heng Seai Kie (pic).
"Once the purchasing power of Malaysians improve, this will naturally drive inflation and will indirectly stimulate sales. Industries will benefit," said the Wanita MCA chairman in a statement on Saturday (Sept 8).
