MIC keeps Kahang state seat as High Court dismisses election petition

KUALA LUMPUR: MIC's R. Vidyananthan (pic) will remain the state assemblyman for the Kahang constituency in Johor after the High Court here granted his application to strike out the election petition filed by Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Pribumi) candidate Noorlihan Ariffin.

Noorlihan filed the election petition on June 13 this year to nullify the 14th General Election result for Kahang.
