Runaway bull leads Bomba on merry 4km chase

SHAH ALAM: A young bull wandered into a factory here and eluded attempts by Fire and Rescue Department personnel to capture it, leading them on a four-kilometre chase.

A department spokesman said they received a call about the animal at around 1.26pm on Tuesday (Aug 21).

“We got a distress call that a bull had wandered into a factory at Jalan Pengapit 15/19, Section 15, Shah Alam.

“We immediately dispatched a fire engine and eight personnel to the scene,” he said when contacted on Tuesday.

However, he said the cow managed to avoid several attempts to capture it and ran four kilometres to a petrol station in Subang Jaya.

“We finally managed to capture the animal about 40 minutes later.

“We restrained the animal and handed it back to its owner at around 5pm,” he said, adding that no one, including the animal, were harmed in the incident.
