KUALA LUMPUR: Council of Eminent Persons (CEP) member Tan Sri Dr Zeti Akhtar Aziz was tight-lipped when asked to comment on Bank Negara Governor Tan Sri Muhammad Ibrahim’s resignation.

“No, I don’t give my reaction. I gave my reaction to the people involved.

“All I need to say is that the central bank is a solid institution that serves the people,” she told reporters after a meeting with other CEP members yesterday.

Asked who would be the next governor, she replied: “You will have to wait and see.”
