HANGZHOU: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has departed for Kuala Lumpur after ending his three-day working visit to Shanghai and Hangzhou, China.
The aircraft carrying the Prime Minister departed Hangzhou International Airport, Zhejiang, at 4.15pm local time on Thursday (Sept 24).
He is expected to arrive at the Royal Malaysian Air Force Subang Airbase on Thursday night.
Earlier on Thursday, Anwar, who is also Finance Minister, attended the 5th Global Digital Trade Expo (GDTE), where Malaysia’s national pavilion was showcased.
After that, the Prime Minister held a bilateral meeting with Chinese Premier Li Qiang.
On Wednesday (Sept 23), Anwar attended the 48th WorldSkills Shanghai 2026, the world’s largest and most prestigious vocational skills competition, which also saw 22 young Malaysians participating in 21 skill areas.
The competition brings together about 1,400 young professionals from more than 65 countries and regions. – Bernama
